Jessica Simpson has split from Tony Romo, sources have claimed. The ‘With You’ singer and the American football star have reportedly ended their romance after Tony was overheard telling friends he is single again.
A source said: ‘They’re over. Tony told pals he’s back on the singles market.’
When Dallas Cowboys star Tony was questioned about the split, he fumed: “I’m not talking about Jessica.”
Jessica’s dad, Joe Simpson, refused to confirm the split, saying: “I don’t know anything about Tony and Jessica.”
Although a representative for the couple denied they had broken up, sources insist they are no longer together. At the weekend, Tony partied at Chicago club Manor and was surrounded by a string of beautiful women.
Yesterday, it was reported Jessica went on a drinking binge after discovering ex-boyfriend John Mayer is dating Jennifer Aniston. The blonde beauty, her best friend Cacee Cobb and Cacee’s boyfriend Donald Faison reportedly spent four hours drinking at California’s Mexicali Cocina Cantina restaurant, according to internet gossip blogger Perez Hilton.

The Queen of Pop is said to be planning to build a multi-million dollar girls’ school in Malawi for underprivileged children this year as said by her local lawyer on Wednesday. Her lawyer Alan Chinula told Reuters “A task force of four prominent Malawians has already been formed to head the project which will be on the scale of what Oprah Winfrey has in South Africa.” Meanwhile, he also says that Madonna will not attend the final court ruling on her adoption bid because she is busy with other engagements.

Justin Timberlake announced at this past weekend’s MTV Upfronts that he’s going to produce a new reality show for MTV called ‘The Phone’. The show is based on a Dutch TV show which pits contestants in a timed race to accomplish a mission and win a cash prize. Each episode begins with two phones placed at opposite ends of a city. Once the phone is answered, players are given 5 seconds to decide by a mysterious guide if they want to play the game. Contestants communicate via phone to succeed. The guide will also communicate with them as a helicopter tracks their every move and any error. A failed task will chip away at the cash prize. The show will air this fall.
Life & Style is reporting that John Mayer arrived at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Miami Beach around noon on Thursday. That’s the same hotel where Jennifer Aniston is staying. In Touch is also reporting that after filming in Miami for 3 months, Jen planned a wrap party for ‘Marley & Me’ in which John was scheduled to perform a 3-song set on May 10. A source said “Everything was changed last minute so John could do this for her. He’s crazy about Jen. It’s hot and heavy but in that very cool way. John isn’t gong to hide his adoration and he’s telling everyone what a cool chick Jen is.” It looks like their relationship is going strong.

Amy Winehouse has been busted by the police on Wednesday for drug possession. It was just last week that the singer was questioned by police on charges of assault and later let off with a caution. This time around, she might not get so lucky. The 24-year old British pop wreck was again arrested by so-called appointment. This incident is apparently related to her crack smoking video a few months back. Perhaps there was some problem if they consider the many offenses she’s committed and that she really shouldn’t have had any drugs in her hands at that time. If we could trust Pete Doherty’s words, maybe jail would do Wino some good – though it’s doubtful.
Celine Dion was spotted signing autographs for fans after she performed at the O2 Arena in London, her first trip to the UK in over ten years. It is being reported that the 40-year old singer is in negotiations to be brought back to Caesars to headline again starting at the end of 2009 or early 2010. AEG Live, responsible for booking the venue at Caesars, released a statement regarding the reports saying “Right now Celine’s focus is on her worldwide tour. We begin the North American tour in August. We love Celine and always keep the door open for her to return to Las Vegas if she wishes.”

Amy Winehouse is still keeping up her crazy antics and it’s made her loved ones want to take drastic measures. Wino’s dad Mitch has even come forward to say that he thinks rehab isn’t enough for his daughter and that he wants to do what Britney Spears’ parents did by forcing his daughter into a mental health facility. Mitch told UK’s News of the World “I want her sectioned (institutionalized). The situation is getting out of control. I want her off the street. I don’t think being somewhere for six weeks is going to cure her problems… I want Amy to be somewhere where she will be safe and where no harm can come to her. Obviously as her dad I will try and do what’s best for her. Unfortunately, what I think is best for Amy and what she thinks is best for her are two different things.”

The former Friends star, 39, has been spotted having romantic meals with the 30-year-old singer-songwriter.
Mayer spent “all weekend” with her at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami, Florida.
A source said: “He’s held her hand on at least two very intimate dinners.”
Aniston, who divorced Brad Pitt in 2005, and Mayer also cuddled on a private beach. They then arranged for a restaurant to open early so they could eat in private.
Aniston, in Miami to film movie Marley & Me, was recently linked to Brit model Paul Sculfor.

Tokio Hotel have just announced they will perform “Ready, Set, Go!” on Late Night with Conan O’Brien on May 9th.
Thanks to the massive amounts of on-line votes, the diehard Tokio Hotel fans have booked the band another spot on TV with a #2 video (“Ready, Set, Go!”) today on MTV’s TRL.

She could get thrown in jail for that! Maybe that was the point so she could be with her husband. But then again, there aren’t any co-ed jails.

She only came in at #3 in the UK with the top spot going to The Kooks. Her ‘E=MC2’ record had been projected to sell around 500,000 units in the US. As of Wednesday, it was reported that the album debuted to a pretty massive sale of approximately 475,000 copies sold. Congratulations to Mariah on that one. The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer, who recently topped The Billboard album and singles charts, reportedly needs a ’sexier’ image so her team have hired Mariah Carey’s personal trainer.
A source said: “Leona has done brilliantly in the US. But some of her team think she needs to be a bit sexier if she wants to have the longevity of female artists like Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson or Madonna. Her looks needs to be more polished. They think that having Leona work with Mariah’s trainer Patricia Gay would be a treat for her because she adores Mariah.”
Leona, 23, will reportedly fly to the Caribbean for ‘intensive sessions’ with Patricia to help get her into shape.
Mariah recently revealed she regularly flies Patricia - who helped Mariah shed around 30lbs - from St. Barts to her New York apartment for their training.
The ‘Touch My Body’ star has insisted she can’t see any similarities between Leona’s music and her own and claims there will never be a “new” Mariah.

There may be trouble brewing for that guy as since it was received later than 5 days after the wedding, the officiator may be charged with a misdemeanor but the clerk says that the person has a good chance of skating out of it.

Junkie jailbird Pete Doherty was in fear of his life last night – over a plot to cripple him by heroin suppliers he owed money.
The Babyshambles singer, 29, has been put into the segregation unit at tough Wormwood Scrubs prison in West London for his own safety. Shocked Doherty was told by prison officers of the threats against him by lags who gave him drugs on tick – and is said to have gone “white with fear”.
One insider said: “There are more drugs in here than outside. Pete is being given methadone to help wean him off smack but he is still desperate for it and has got well out of his depth. He has been writing IOU’s to the dealers and getting his gear on credit. But he has not paid up and they have realised they have been stitched up. There are some very heavy people who have lost money and want to hurt him bad. They won’t kill him – but it will be a pan of boiling water job with sugar in it, to scar him good and proper.”
Doherty is expected to be moved to an open prison as soon as space is available
Amy Winehouse’s marriage is hanging by a thread after she snubbed husband Blake Fielder-Civil on his 26th birthday.
The troubled singer, 24, did not visit Blake in jail on Wednesday or send a card in time. Pals say she is living as “a single woman” but will not dump him while he is inside.
Blake is self-harming because she keeps missing visits to Pentonville Prison, North London, where he is awaiting trial on assault and trial-fixing allegations.
A pal said: “Amy does everything she can not to visit. She forgets she is married half the time. There are a few men she is close to and Blake can’t stand it.”
The Rehab star’s dad Mitch said: “It wouldn’t surprise me if Amy and Blake had broken up.”
Fergie says she gets her “fire” from her Latin ancestry.
The Black Eyed Peas singer believes she inherited the passionate side of her character from her Mexican grandmother.
She said: “Yes, I have Mexican in my ancestry. My Dad’s grandmother was born in Guanajuato. I’m very proud of it - that’s probably where I get my fire! I love going to Mexico.
